These walks are a fantastic opportunity to work on helping your dog generalize behaviors and to socialize with local, enthusiastic dog owners. Challenging exercises such as slaloms, crossing past each other, relaxing in close proximity to other dogs, remaining calm while owners meet each other, and more are interspersed throughout the walk. Keith also ensures dogs who are reactive or overstimulated are included in appropriately accommodating ways.
The walks can feel overwhelming to new dogs at first, but the more they are given the opportunity to participate, the easier it becomes!
